Colin is an experienced Rehabilitation Engineer with expertise in providing specialist wheelchair assessments and equipment solutions for individuals (adults and children) who have neuromuscular /neurological conditions or complex disabilities.

Originally qualifying as a Mechanical Engineer in 1989, working in the field of defence quality assurance, he joined King’s College Hospital’s Medical Engineering and Physics Department in 1994 as a Rehabilitation Engineer specialising in wheelchairs and special seating.

In 2002 he transferred to NHS Plymouth as clinical/service lead to the Wheelchair and Special Seating Service at Plymouth Disablement Services Centre.

In 2012 he formed Tamar Rehabilitation Engineering Services Ltd. and now provides specialist wheelchair assessment and support to clients on an independent basis.
