Our long term supporter, Harvey Tanday, contacted us just weeks ago to let us know that colleagues in his office were arranging an office cake sale and raffle.

Harvey had worn his Myotubular Trust t-shirt to work on a dress down day, and two of his work mates, Hailey White and Emma Thorne, had asked him about it. Harvey explained that the charity was important to him as his beautiful daughter, Sukhi, had lived with centronuclear myopathy.  The Myotubular Trust had been a cause close to her heart, and one that she had raised funds for.

Hailey and Emma were so inspired by Harvey’s family story that they immediately set to work organising an office raffle and cake sale, securing lots of great raffle items from local businesses, and setting to with baking.

Harvey told us, “The event was so well organised and was a lot of fun. Practically the whole office engaged and I cannot thank the donators for the raffle prizes and contributors to the “pot” enough, and of course all those who partook of cake coffee and tea.”

We are immensely grateful to Harvey for sharing his family’s story, and to Hailey and Emma for putting together such a successful and enjoyable event. And, of course, many thanks to all at Kuehne and Nagel who supported the event. Congratulations to those who won raffle prizes, and well done Hailey on your awesome lemon drizzle cake!

We are incredibly grateful to you all. Thank you!
