My name is Shaun Marsh; I have myotubular myopathy. I was diagnosed with the condition when I was 13 after I had a scoliosis operation; they did a muscle biopsy also.

I started exercising on my own from the age of 15, and from there I have been training in my bedroom, in a friend’s gym garage, and then built up the courage to join a gym. This lead to me completing a Personal training course at the age of 24 and now I want this to be my career.

I feel that because I have so much personal experience of exercise, and can understand it through a perspective of being a disabled person, I can offer a lot of help to many people.
