Over the summer, the 13th Jack Blunsdon Golf Tournament was held at Lewes Golf Course, in memory of Jack, who had myotubular myopathy.

Lots of teams took part competing for various trophies and prizes and we were particularly delighted to hear that the Jack Blunsdon memorial trophy was won by Jack’s dad, Dave, and his fellow team members; Andy Boxall, Chris Scarborough and Sean McKeown.

We simply cannot thank Jack’s parents, Dave and Karen, and Jack’s aunt, Hayley, enough for arranging yet another hugely successful event, and for their unending support. They have been loyal supporters and advocates of the Trust since it was founded – as well as arranging the increasingly popular annual golf day, Karen also took part in the London 10k this year, and she and Jack’s little sister, Daisy, join us for the London Hope Walk year on year.

Huge thanks too to all of the participants for making this tournament another huge success – we really appreciate the generosity and support, and also the kindness of the sponsors of the tournament. Thank you all!

And we can’t finish without giving a shout out to Jack’s little sister, 11 year old Daisy, who baked brownies and flap jacks which she took around the course for players in return for a donation to Myotubular Trust. Daisy, we love your style!
