In the midst of lockdown, it was wonderful to hear from mum Natasha, of one amazing little girl’s fundraising.
Coral, aged just 5, is one of our youngest ever supporters and she took on the 2.6 challenge in memory of her little brother, Finlay, who had myotubular myopathy.
The numbers from the challenge – 2 and 6 – were both used in Coral’s challenge…..she not only ran 2km but she cycled 6km too, accompanied by her mum and dad. What an achievement for such a little lady, who we are told by mum was very determined.
Coral’s sponsors were so very generous, and the lovely messages that she received from friends and family were simply lovely. Thank you all.
Well done Coral – you’re an awesome big sister and your 2.6 challenge star is so appropriate!
