On an oh so cold morning in January a brave pair, Orla and Cara, swam in the icy cold sea at Fountainstown Beach, Cork in Ireland. Their ‘Christmas swim’ had been delayed courtesy of COVID but the determined pair took to the sea at the earliest opportunity, sporting Christmas hats.
Orla, whose son, Rian, has centronuclear myopathy, told us ‘it was a bit of fun’….. the team at the Myotubular Trust will be taking Orla’s word for that!
