We are proud to share the news that McCarthy Stone have sponsored our new supply of fundraiser t-shirts. Our long-term supporter, Duncan, sought sponsorship from the company in honour of his beautiful little boy, Will, who had myotubular myopathy. Will’s family and friends (Team Will) have been phenomenal supporters of the Trust for 16 years and we cannot thank them enough for their continued support.
We could not be more grateful to McCarthy Stone for their kind support. We are really looking forward to seeing our fundraisers out and about wearing the t-shirts, raising awareness for Myotubular Trust while proudly emblazoning the name of McCarthy Stone to share their generosity of spirit as our t-shirt sponsors.
Sponsorship means that we are able to offer our t-shirts free of charge to the friends and families who help us to raise funds, therefore directing every single penny raised to where it is needed the most. Our previous company sponsors have often remarked that the personal connection to a small charity like ours, such as through a colleague like Duncan, makes it so easy to see that the support really makes a difference, which promotes such a good feeling for everyone within the company
It would be remiss of us not to also acknowledge everybody who responded to our call for help with sponsorship – we were really moved by how many people were keen to help – thank you. We would also like to show our appreciation to Zak who has given the t-shirts a fantastic fresh new look.
