A group of students from Kingsbury High School based in North West London took part in the First Give Charity Project. This initiative allows students to collaborate in small teams to try and win £1000 for their chosen charity. This particular group chose to represent our charity as it was close to their hearts, since one of their beloved teachers has a child with myotubular myopathy. Although the students didn’t win the £1000, they were still able to raise awareness of the condition within their school. They also raised £73 during a bake sale which was donated to the charity. The Myotubular Trust and Kingsbury High School are very proud of the group of students.

We are incredibly grateful to all of the students in Form 8Y, their form teacher and the Head of Extended Learning for their support and great work.
