💪 My Challenges

· I have a tracheostomy in situ and use a ventilator to help me breathe.

· My muscles are very weak and heavy.

· I use a wheelchair to get around as I can’t walk or hold myself up without support.

· Some sports are harder for me to play, but I don’t let that stop me enjoying them.

· My dad made me support Manchester United, I didn’t want to upset him, but they have grown on me. 🙈

⚽ How I Found Wheelchair Football

I wanted to play sport like other kids. I discovered wheelchair football because my mum is always looking for fun and exciting things for me to try. She encourages me to do the same things as other kids. She doesn’t let my condition stop me. She even found a way to strap my ventilator at the back of the wheelchair so its safe and doesn’t move.

My dad has always wanted to be able to take his son to football like other dads and healthy boys and wheelchair football has allowed me to share those special times with him. I gave it a go and got used to the fast wheelchair really quickly. 😆 My mum calls me Speedster Hasnain. I’m so fast, it makes me feel free. I’ve been playing for just over 2 years now and I LOVE IT!

🌟 Amazing Moment

Huddersfield Town Mascot!

Due to my love for football and as a powerchair footballer, I became the first wheelchair user mascot in Yorkshire. It’s not for Manchester United but for Huddersfield Town. They treated me like someone really important.I went onto the pitch with the team! It was one of my proudest days.
