Join us at 11.00am on Sunday 22nd September for this year’s Manchester Hope Walk.
Our annual Hope Walks have been held since 2008, having been instigated by a wonderful group of supporters – Jo, Lizze and Laura (pictured below). The walks, wherever they take place, share a common goal – to raise research funds to continue the work of finding a treatment for myotubular and centronuclear myopathy.
We will meet on Canal Street – just a short hop from Manchester Piccadilly station – for a quick ‘hello’ and to have a group photo taken. Then we will set off, at whatever pace suits you best, along the Bridgewater canal banks to enjoy a scenic autumnal walk. We finish at Trafford Park station or, for those who prefer a longer 8 mile challenge, you can turn back and retrace your steps. You will be sent your own downloadable map ahead of the day so you can walk at your own pace and stop and start at your leisure.
Registration couldn’t be easier. Simply email contact@myotubulartrust.org letting us know you can join us, and we will send you registration instructions and information about setting up your fundraising page.
The event will provide an opportunity to meet other supporters and we would love to see you there if you can make it!
